magnificent flower and photo. it’s very reminiscent of a variety i used in my garden designs, common name is ‘African Daisy’. there is a white variety with lilac edging the white petals. ty for this, and for reading through that poem i was ‘anxious’ about. it means a lot to me that you did.

It reminds me of „Symbelmynë”, the white flower shown in the second Lord of the Rings film, The Two Towers. It was in the scenes in which the King of Rohan was talking to Gandalf in front of his son’s grave.
I saw the movie but I do not remember that scene 🙂
